This castle was handed down to us by some friends.
We picked it up on Christmas Eve and the girls were beyond thrilled with their new gift.

The original plan was to clear an area in the backyard and set it up out there...
but the girls and some friends decided to assemble it themselves over Christmas break.
Everyone has so much fun with it...
Riding scooters around it, jumping on their bikes to "flee intruders", and pretending to be real princesses.
Not to mention the carpet scrap that makes it feel like a real house!
Jay got some hardware to help reinforce the corners and the slide.
Then an entire gaggle of girls decorated it themselves with a variety of stickers.
And, with that, in the garage the castle shall stay.

(PS -- Love the static hair, Tiara.)
Today's Joy: Thankful for the toys that other children have outgrown and fun times with friends.
I LOVE it! What a good example you're setting for your children by "choosing joy"!
